"These photographs were taken in an abandoned factory in Schio (province of Vicenza), Italy. I was intrigued by the decay of the building and how nature was taking over again its land with small plants growing in the cracks and mould overpowering the walls. The chipped paint, water, mould and moss on the window sills created its own interesting patterns and art which I wanted to capture and frame. I have always felt a sort of peace and calmness in abandoned places. In every angle, every wall, every small object you could find which was left behind tells a story and sparks imagination with how this place would've been like when it was still being used and functioned."
