Within this series, I decided to focus on the myriad of colors which can be seen around India. All of these images were taken in the markets in Bangalore, South India. The combination of colors, wires and fabrics created an abstract frame which is captured in an abstract way in the series below. The use of colors in India is vivid, it can be seen through the streets, celebrations, places of worship, clothing, and even all the way to their food. The various symbolisms associated with each color are very meaningful in Indian culture and have distinct classifications. Photographer: Maria Rizzotto
